“Bee or not to be” the Programa do Jô
The campaign coordinator Without Bee Without Food, Prof. Dr. Lionel Segui Gonçalves was one of the guests at Programa do Jô, from Rede Globo, no dia 11 March 2014, to talk about the “Colony Collapse Disorder” and the decline of pollinators.

The “No Bee” campaign, Sem Alimento” é a maior iniciativa em proteção às abelhas da América Latina. Launched during the biggest event of the world beekeeping, Congress of Apimondia, held in Kiev, Ukraine, in October 2013, It aims to make society aware of the importance of these pollinators, and alert them to the risks of its decline.
It is important to know the causes of the problem, and also ways to help fight it. The bees protection is an issue that concerns everyone, because its importance is manifested in 1/3 of all food arriving at our tables, balance ecosystems, maintenance of woods and forests and biodiversity conservation.
