Bee or not to be at the Honey Sector Chamber

The organization Bee or not to be was invited to participate in one of the meetings of the Honey Sector Chamber , from MAPA, in Brasilia, to expose the objectives and partial results obtained with the Without Bee Without Food campaign.

Coordinator Daniel Malusá Gonçalves was present and defended the need for partnership between the sector, and warned of the serious problems that national beekeeping has been facing with high bee mortality rates, mainly due to the indiscriminate use of pesticides and increasing deforestation.

He also announced the recent launch of the collaborative platform Bee Alert, which will be used to record occurrences of bee deaths in apiaries, making the problem tangible.
