How bees, we have to work in partnership – Pollinators in Brazil

Pollinator Partnership Brazil and Bee or not to beThe campaign FREE BEE, WITHOUT FOOD, the organization Bee or Not to Be, It established an important partnership with the POLLINATORS OF BRAZIL PROJECT, to bring farmers, agricultural engineers and technicians, beekeepers, beekeepers and lovers of the countryside and bees the results of a study conducted in the last five years, on the importance of pollination in agricultural development, and the study of their key players.

The Pollinators Project Brazil, coordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, It is inserted into an international initiative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations – FAO funded by the Global Fund for the Environment (GEF – Global Environmental Facility) and has the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund - Funbio, as the agency responsible for its execution.

The project focuses its efforts on seven major crops in Brazil: Apple, cotton, canola, Brazil nuts, melon, Cashew and tomato.

From March 2015, will be available management plans, scientific studies and videos produced by Pollinators Project Brazil, that conscientizarão further on the importance of protection of pollinators and their indispensable role in the chain of agricultural production.

Educational content for teachers and elementary students, and the campaign of increasing stock Bee No No Food, like aplicativo Bee Alert and other communication activities are also part of the partnership.
